HIV: YOU TAKE IT ALL

This era of hopelessness and fear,
Cries none wants to hear!
Today I respire, tomorrow not sure
from north to west everywhere, the terror!

Like hungry lioness,
Merciless on even the motherless!
Like weapons of mass destruction,
Hurts and kills without segregation!

Given chance I’d opt for prison
For there, I’ll be for only a season
Flashing back can’t resist holler
Yet looking forward I’m only weary of diarrhea.

AIDS, what a bomb, what a thunder
even my sister is now a gone case!
What’s my destiny I sit and wonder;
Another loss or another boss?
